Adjustable brakes are only useful if they stay put. These Reckless Wheelchairs Micro Adjustable All Aluminum Anodized Wheelchair Scissor Brakes are built for reliable adjustment — dial them in once with screws and you’re done (no slipping and no slowly losing tension).
The micro-adjustable design lets you fine-tune brake position without having to adjust the main brake shaft, so it’s faster to set tire contact and easier to get things even left-to-right.
And unlike a lot of adjustable brakes, these don’t get extra long or extra heavy just to give you adjustment. You get the adjustability without the usual tradeoffs.
Made of all aluminum for a more durable, long-lasting setup.
Available in anodized Black, Red, and Blue. Sold as a pair. Mounting clamps sold separately.

How to Service your Brakes
- If your brakes are squeaking, add a small amount of lubricant.
- Regularly wipe clean to keep them working smoothly.
- If the spring breaks, purchase the Eagle Brake Replacement Spring Kit (this kit includes the replacement spring/hardware you’ll need to get your brake back in service).
